Student Shuttle Driver - Part-Time
Smiley Transportation is seeking dependable, caring individuals to join our team as Student Shuttle Driver. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring students get to school, activities, and home safely and on time. If you’re looking for a rewarding job with opportunities for growth and a chance to positively impact your community, we want to hear from you!

Your Role:

Drive Safely: Operate Smiley Transportation vehicles responsibly, ensuring students arrive safely at their destinations.

Ensure Safety: Follow all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and student supervision guidelines.

Make Every Ride Enjoyable: Ensure every student feels secure, comfortable, and cared for. Provide friendly, professional service on every trip.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your vehicle clean, and free of clutter.

Stay on Schedule: Follow assigned routes and schedules, communicating with dispatch to keep operations smooth.

Support Your Team: Maintain clear, professional communication with office staff, dispatch, and other team members to support daily operations.
Candidate Requirements:

Age: Must be at least 23 years old

Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean driving record

Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Reliability: Dependable and punctual

Customer Service Skills: Friendly, positive, and able to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience working with children or families.

Experience driving larger vehicles, or passenger vans (CDL is not required)
-
Familiarity with local traffic patterns and neighborhoods.

Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, and dispatch communication tools.
