Our Story
Trusted by Local Families Since 2007
Family. Care. Community.
Smiley Transportation began in 2007 with one mom's mission to find a safe, reliable way to get her special needs daughter to school. What started as a personal solution quickly grew into something much bigger as other families sought the same peace of mind. The name Smiley was inspired by that daughter's constant grin—a reminder of the joy and purpose behind every ride. From the very beginning, Smiley has stood for family, care, and trust, making sure every trip brings comfort, safety, and maybe even a few smiles along the way.
In July 2025, longtime Keller area residents Lori and Tom Woody became the proud owners of Smiley Transportation. Together, they are committed to preserving the company's family-first values while continuing to build on its reputation for safe, dependable transportation.
A proud native Texan who grew up in Keller, Lori has been part of the Smiley Transportation family since 2021. She is passionate about providing families with a transportation service they can rely on and takes pride in leading a team dedicated to making each school day a little easier for parents and students alike. Lori and Tom are also proud parents of their son, Jack, a graduate of Keller ISD who now attends Oklahoma State University.
As a locally owned and family-operated business, Smiley Transportation understands the importance of trust. Every decision is guided by the belief that parents deserve peace of mind, students deserve a safe and welcoming ride, and every family deserves dependable service they can count on.
Now entering our 19th year of service, Smiley Transportation is proud to serve hundreds of families throughout Northeast Tarrant County. While our fleet, technology, and service area have grown over the years, our mission remains unchanged: to provide safe, reliable transportation with exceptional customer service and a personal touch.
At Smiley Transportation, we're more than a ride to and from school—we're a trusted partner in your family's daily routine. Every mile we drive reflects our commitment to safety, kindness, and the community we proudly call home.
